First Sun Dress

We just got back from spending our spring break in the Caribbean! Our parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by taking us on a 7 day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean! Our cruise was WONDERFUL to say the least... perfect weather (high 80-90's) everyday, exotic destinations, and wonderful family memories. Check out our family blog for more pictures!

While driving around St. Maarten, we stopped in a small harbor that had lots of outdoor stands with local women selling Carribean inspired souvenirs. Necklaces, shells, and bright wraps filled their booths. But what caught my attention were these adorable little two-piece sundresses for little girls. I couldn't help myself! I found one that was the smallest size they had- fitting girls from 1-4 years old. It was in a brilliant red color with yellow fish on it. It ties around the back in a halter style top and the skirt is a wrap-around style so it can fit many sizes so it will grow with her. I can't wait to try it on her next summer!!!
