Wow... what a humbling task....
As part of the Korean paperwork that needs to be submitted as part of our dossier, we need to write a letter to our daughter's birthparents. This will be a letter that will be in her adoption file in case her parents want to know how she is doing.
However, we are both really struggling with this...
How do you put into words the gratitude that we have for the people that are giving her over to us? How do you say thank you for making this sacrifice and entrusting us with their daughter? How do you begin to tell them that we love her even though we have never met her? How can I offer them peace through the pain they must be facing? Even though oceans may separate us, we will always be connected through the love we will both have for this little girl. I pray that God will give us the right words to offer them comfort and peace.
