Update on USCIS letter

After receiving the letter from USCIS requesting more evidence and changes to our homestudy, our agency's director called directly to USCIS and found out they are looking for a standard wording for certain areas of the homestudy. It seems that many agencies and prospective adoptive parents are receiving these letters. Whew! That made me relieved that it wasn't something happening to just us! So.... our homestudy has been revised to meet the new wording requirements, it has even been addressed directly to the USCIS official reviewing our application, and should be on its way back to USCIS by the end of the week! Now, the wait begins for our approval!
