Its such a weird feeling... knowing that at this point, everything that I can do to move our adoption forward is done. The rest lies in God's hands and His amazing plan.
Its a sense of relief.
A sense of apprehension.
A sense of excitement.
For you see, today we sent in the last of our paperwork to our New York agency. The last of our Korean dossier which will be mailed to SWS (the Korean adoption agency who will match us with our daughter). The homestudy, medical reports, marriage certificates, birth certificates, a letter written to the birthmother and a handmade photo album of our family all went in the mail today and will be sent on to Korea.
Everything that I can do at this point is done.
We have completed every step.
Our next step is the big one... our referral. This will be the call that we will be anxiously awaiting telling us that they have a baby girl available to us. We will see her picture and hear her name and learn all about her. I can't wait!!!!

I am catching up on some blogs after travel. So first, congratulations on sending off your dossier!! That is a great accomplishment and wonderful relief! Thank you for posting about Korea's unwed mothers. That was heart breaking and so informative. I didn't know those statistics. Also, a great reminder that in the joy of adoption, there is a sorrow that has brought it about. Thanks for reminding me and encouraging me to be praying for our child's birth mom.
Congrats!!! I love your blog, BTW. Hope your referral comes fast. What agency are you with?
