I found this quote on the awesome site of a fellow adopting family's blog- Minus One Project. I think this quote sums up my feelings towards adoption. Is adoption perfect? No. Perfect would be every child being able to live with their birth mother and birth father in a perfect family. But we don't live in a perfect world. No family is perfect. The only thing that is perfect is God's love. I feel that opening your home to a child that doesn't have a family is a reflection of God's love. I hope our daughter knows that she was always wanted, always searched for, prayed for and above all, always loved!!
