We are so excited to be one of 13 families that are being supported by an AMAZING company called Worthy Of The Prize. This company has embraced adoptive families and has opened their hearts and business to "defend the cause of the fatherless." They have even featured us on their website! (Click here to see our smiling faces!) God is working in such amazing ways!
Worthy of the Prize is a Christian based sports ministry that sells Fit Bands and Fit Cards to promote physical and spiritual fitness! God has given them a vision and passion to not only teach people what it takes to become worthy of an earthly prize, but more importantly, to teach them how to become worthy of the ultimate prize, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and eternal life in heaven with Him! (1 Corinthians 9:24-25) How cool is that!
Their Fit Bands are wristlets and lanyards that you wear while you warm-up, stretch, walk, jog, or cool-down during your workout! They come with a silver ring that enables you to clip Fit Cards onto them so that you can pray, memorize scripture and do devotionals while you exercise! Fit Bands also come with a keyring and make great keychains, particularly for moms and teachers, who always have their hands full, and for active types, who want to take their keys with them when they walk/jog the neighborhood! Half-loops are available for men to carry their keys on. They can loop them around their finger when their hands are full, but are still able to put them in their pockets!
We are so excited to be selling the CHOSEN CHILD Adoption Fit Band and also the CHOSEN CHILD Adoption Half Loop!
This band represents the orphans of the world. All of the "fatherless" children who are waiting for a home through adoption. It represents the beautiful families who are desperately trying to adopt these children but must wait until funds are raised and legalities are finalized.
"Sing to God, sing praise to His name, extol Him who rides on the clouds---His name is the Lord---and rejoice before Him. A father to the fatherless, a defender of the widows, is God in His holy dwelling!" (Psalm 68:4-5)
Worthy of the Prize has created these bands with the "Make Life" fabric because children do "Make Life" fresh, simple, sunny, memorable, colorful, beautiful and all of the other words listed!
And this band will help "Make Life" all of these things for the children waiting to be adopted and the families waiting to adopt them!
Worthy of the Prize has a strong passion for adoption and wants to help other families adopting! As a result, for every one of these bands purchased, they will donate 1/2 the proceeds to help families like ours raise money for their adoptions!
