Means so much...

I have been blown away by the support we have received from other adoptive families. I could have never imagined the people we would meet... that God would place in our lives... as we have been on this journey to our precious daughter. I could never have guessed the "strangers" who would turn into family as we followed their journeys to their children too. I thank God for them everyday.

As soon as we announced that we were adopting, two of my favorite students (who just happen to have been adopted from Guatamala) gave us the cutest little stuffed seahorse that plays classical music and has a light-up belly. I know Adelyn is going to love this! This was so unexpected and blew me away with this family's thoughtfulness. Their Mom follows my blog and is so supportive. It means the world to me!

At Christmas, we also received the book "Happy Adoption Day" from another incredible family who has two beautiful daughter's that I teach and adore (one adopted from China). This book brought tears to my eyes and I can't wait for the day that I will be able to read it each night to Adelyn. It even has a song that goes with it! What a special gift!

Our school is so blessed to have amazing parents and amazing students. I am so blessed to call these students and families my friends. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on our journey. Words cannot express what it means to us.
