It has now been 18 days since we accepted our referral on February 28. (But who's counting, right?) Our next step is for Korea to send us our legals. I have heard people say their legals came in 4 days, 11 days, 4 weeks... I have to say that everyday that passes is making me more and more anxious and stressed.
Without our legals, nothing else can happen. We need our legals to be able to complete the Michigan requirements and be able to get the signatures from Lansing that are required for our Michigan adoption petitions. Once these are signed and approved then they will be sent to New York to be included in our I600. So right now, everybody is waiting for legals.
I know God is in control. He always is. Its always His timing. Its just so hard to watch the days tick by and know our dear daughter is losing another day she could be home with us. Its times like this when I don't have control that its the hardest. Its when I'm at the mercy of other's timing... in this case... other government's timing... that its so very hard to wait.
So if you could pray, that would be great. Please pray for our legals to arrive soon!
