We were able to send a care package to Adelyn in Korea!
This was so much fun to put together, although we did have very specific guidelines about what could be sent and a VERY small 9x12 envelope to fit it in! If it would have been up to me, I would have sent her a 9x12 FOOT box full of goodies! But hopefully, soon she will be home and spoiled with all kinds of new girly goodies!!
This is what we sent her:
(1) Disposable camera
(1) Flash drive (hopefully the foster parents are taking lots of digital pictures of her)
(1) Thank you card for the foster family (this will be translated into Korean)
(1) very soft monkey blanket
(1) very soft elephant rattle toy that plays music when you press its belly
(1) plastic baby-proof teething photo album with pictures of us in it that she can look at
We have been sleeping with the little monkey blanket and elephant rattle for a few weeks, so hopefully it will smell a little like us! It was fun to snuggle up with that at night and I actually missed it after we sent it. But knowing that hopefully she is now snuggling with it makes me smile! It was very exciting and a bit emotional packing up all of her items and sending it off to our agency. They will send it on to the foster family for us in Korea. I hope Adelyn likes everything!!

It such a blessing that you are able to send things for your girl! The picture album was a great idea!
