I had tears running down my cheeks watching the video of her smiling and playing. I saw her crawling and pulling herself up on furniture and I felt like the proudest Mom around! She's doing so well! I even heard her little whimper and my heart melted.
Here are some highlights from her progress report on May 20:
*She weighs 17.8 lbs and is 27 inches long. *She is drinking a bottle of formula every four hours *She sleeps through the night!!(yeah!) *She likes to eat rice porridge mixed with veggies, crushed fruits, soft bread, yogurt and cheeses *She is not a picky eater (whoo-hoo!) *When she is sleepy, she rubs her eyes and whimpers... (oh... be still my heart!) *When she is tired, she likes to be carried on her mom's back (sooo glad we got our Ergo baby carrier!) *You need to be next to her when she is sleeping (good thing we bought our co-sleeper!) *She is sensitive to sounds and needs it quiet to sleep (uh-oh... our boys will change that!) *She is cheerful and bright and likes to play *She gives a laugh when foster family sings songs to her *She babbles a lot *She can say "umma" (mommy) *She is very curious *She likes to listen to music and moves to the music (whoo-hoo! Taking after me!) *If foster mother says "Good job", she claps and smiles *She is shy of strangers and cries when in a new place without foster family
Here is my favorite video of her! ENJOY! And feel free to watch it as many times as you'd like... I've watched it 18 times so far!! LOL!
One Mommy. One Daddy. Two brothers. Four hearts who waited so long for our sister and daughter to come home. And now our wonderful family is finally complete!
