Poor Baby....

We just got an e-mail from our agency that Adelyn caught hand-foot-mouth disease. This is a very common virus that infects infants and toddlers. I remember that one of the boys got it when they were babies. It shows up with a fever and little blisters that form in their mouth and sometimes legs and hands. Adelyn was just taken in to the doctor yesterday and has little blisters in her mouth and on her butt and thighs. They said she is fine but not eating very well because her mouth hurts. Oh poor baby... this just breaks my heart. I wish I was there holding and rocking her.

Please pray that she gets better very soon. I don't want our little one feeling miserable and MOST important, I don't want her not to be able to come home on Friday if she is sick!!! They assured me that she will be better by Monday and that it does not last long. The only reason they would delay our return trip home would be if she had a high fever and was very sick. I'm sure she will be fine, but extra prayers would be very welcome!!!

On a good note... WE GET TO MEET HER FOR THE FIRST TIME ON MONDAY!! Our first time meeting our baby girl will be at 9:30 Monday morning! Less than a week away! OH MY!!
