Last Homestudy Meeting!

We had our last homestudy meeting today! WOW! It seems like it went so fast! I can't believe we are already done! Jeff and I both thoroughly enjoyed our homestudy meetings and getting to know our social worker! It was so fun talking and even being able to joke around with her! She has so many interesting stories to share! She has really embraced our family and is so excited for us! She can't wait until we receive our referral and she gets to share the first pictures of our daughter with us!!!

Today, we basically finished up talking about adoption topics/questions that we needed to cover, signed some more papers, and went over some legal formalities.

She also got a chance to talk briefly with Carson and Kolby and asked each of them to draw a picture of their baby sister with them. They each drew such cute pictures! Carson drew a picture of Daddy, Mommy holding baby sister, Carson and Kolby at the playground. Kolby drew a picture of our frog tree (this is a tree in our yard that has a small retaining wall encircling it. Toads fall in and can't climb back out. In summer it turns into a perfect outdoor aquarium! The boys LOVE catching toads, frogs and baby snakes in it!). Kolby drew a picture of this tree with frogs underneath it, Carson and baby sister holding a frog, and somehow Daddy (who turned into Giant Daddy) and Kolby are mysteriously up on top of the tree!! Oh our little 4 year old's imagination! Its still so cute! He said he wants to catch frogs with his sister! These pictures are priceless! I will always treasure them!
