Well... here goes....
I've jumped in and got my feet wet with our first try at fundraising!
As you may know, international adoption is very expensive, but luckily with a lot of saving, we have been able to cover the costs up until now. However, once our referral comes, the largest amount of money will be due (think cost of a new car) which will go directly to SWS- the agency in Korea who takes care of the mothers and babies and will match us with our daughter. So we basically have 7-10 months to try to raise this money before we receive our referral.
So... to help bring our beautiful daughter home... I've decided to try selling BeautiControl. It is a FABULOUS company with INCREDIBLE spa, skin and makeup products. I've been using BeautiControl for a couple years now and my face and skin have never looked better. A few weeks ago, I went to a BeautiControl party and the hostess offered to do a spa party as a charity fundraiser with some of the proceeds going to our adoption! I was so impressed!
