First Disappointment

Having decided that we would pursue our daughter from China, we started researching. Our first bit of bad news came with the realization that China is WAY backed up in their adoptions. Our initial information stated that the wait for China is a 2-3 year process which we thought would still be doable. However, after talking with actual agencies and adoptive parents, we found out it is more like a 7-9 year wait! We felt that is not in our family's best interest to wait that long.

Although we were discouraged, we started looking at other Asian countries...

Korea

Taiwan

Nepal

Phillipines

Thailand

Kazhakstan

We are just praying that God will open the doors where He wants us to go. In the meantime, I'll begin researching once again!
