We received our newsletter from our social worker and so far, things continue to be going smoothly for the Korea adoption program. Our agency received five referrals in September and two referrals in October. After e-mailing her this week, she said she received two more referrals this week! YEAH! This is such exciting news!
Three children came home in September, six in October, and one child is scheduled to come home in November. Ten children who now have forever families.
The estimated wait time for referral is still seven to nine months, although a referral for a baby girl will probably be closer to the nine month mark. This puts us sometime between March and May... probably closer to May to receive or referral.... that seems like SUCH a long time away. Please pray that either our referral comes sooner or that I survive this emotional rollercoaster!

Thanks for the AWESOME comments that you left on my blog. So glad you are getting closer to your daughter! Keep that good news comin'!
The song on Joye's montage is "safe and sound" by Mathew West. LOVE HIM. Then I saw you have "One less" on your blog. Love that one too!He is so AWESOME!
I'll check in more often and I can't wait to see your daughter's beautiful face!
You will certainly survive--and how much sweeter it will be seeing your daughter's face!! Our agency sent out an email about the referral times lengthening about 3-4 more months. So happy to hear about all the placements going on with your agency!
