Just when you think things are going smoothly, there is always some sort of roadblock. Always.
We had received notice that our ICPC papers were approved and returned to FAC on Friday. We were told they would be in the mail on Monday (the administrative assistant who files our paperwork was not working on Friday).
However, we received an e-mail that there was some miscommunication between Spence-Chapin and FAC and there are some papers that need to be notarized before they can be sent to court. So now we have to wait for those papers to be returned before they will be submitted to the courts. Grrrrrr..... We only have four days before our homestudy expires!!!! This is making me really nervous.
I have been in contact with FAC to see what can be done to expidite this. I would personally hand deliver these papers if that's what it takes! Please pray we can get these papers to court very very soon... BEFORE our homestudy is expired!! Please pray a judge signs them very quickly!!!

Oh, so sorry to hear this news. Hope they can figure out something and get this paperwork where it needs to go in a hurry. Hang in there.
