First USCIS call...

We were going to wait until we were a little farther along in our wait with USCIS (we are 2 1/2 weeks waiting), but finally I broke down and asked Jeff to call on Friday. He actually talked with a very nice person who checked on the status of our paperwork and said we have NOT been assigned a officer yet. That's what I expected, but it was still disheartening to officially hear.

She did say we can call back as often as we like (bad words for this mama to hear!!).

I think we will wait until next Friday and check again.

Until then... just waiting....
