Jeff and I just finished handwriting the last of the raffle tickets for our Ipad raffle.
I have to admit, when we started this raffle I was just worried about clearing the cost of the IPad! But as I sit staring at our bucket of tickets, I am so amazed at the incredible support of family, friends and even adoptive families whom we have never met. God is so good and He always provides. Through every worry and fear... He always provides. I am humbled and so very gracious to everyone's support. I really cannot put into words how I feel tonight staring at those tickets. I have prayed over those tickets and thanked God for blessing us in such wonderful, incredible ways.... with such wonderful, incredible family and friends.
There is a song from the musical Wicked that has been going through my head tonight...
I've heard it said That people come into our lives for a reason Bringing something we must learn And we are led to those who help us most to grow If we let them and we help them in return Well, I don't know if I believe that's true But I know who I am today Because I knew you...
Because I knew you...
Because I knew you... I have been changed for good.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I cannot wait until tomorrow to see who the lucky winner is! Stay tuned! The winning ticket will be drawn tomorrow by our pastor. We will videotape the results! God bless!!
One Mommy. One Daddy. Two brothers. Four hearts who waited so long for our sister and daughter to come home. And now our wonderful family is finally complete!
