14 Months and Piggie Tails!!

Adelyn has grown so much this month! I just can't get over how much she learns and how quickly! She is like a little sponge! It really amazes me!

Here are some of the things she's doing!

*Her hair is long enough for her first pig tails! They are soooo cute!!!

* She has 4 molars and 8 baby teeth! Her poor mouth has been popping teeth all month long! Two more on the bottom are working on coming through too!

*She is learning new words everyday! She has about 10 words she can say now... "Mama", "Dada", "Papa", "More", "Please", "Carson", "kitty", "Meow", "Moo", "Woof" are her favorite words!

*She is working on animal sounds! Its soooo cute! If you ask her what a kitty says, she answers "Meow" (usually in a whisper). If you ask her what a doggie says, she usually pants with her tongue out (this is because her aunt's dog Deacon pants all the time). Its so funny! Sometime she will say "woof." She just learned how to "moo" for a cow and we are working on quacking like a duck! She also likes to "roar" like a little dinosaur or lion... its so funny!

*If you say "Pretty", she will try to comb her hair with her hand! What a little princess!

*She LOVES shoes! She will sit for 30 minutes playing with her shoes or mine trying to put them on! She is DEFINITELY my daughter!!! Girl after my own heart!

*She understands EVERYTHING. If you tell her to go get her baby, she will. If you tell her to go get her monkey, she will. If you tell her to bring you her cup, she will. It amazes me how much she understands!

*She loves her baby doll. If she is holding it, she will usually hug her baby and even pat her back. So precious!

*If you say "Hug", she will put her head on your shoulder (or on her babydolls shoulder... or a pumpkin... or whatever else she is near!!) Its very cute!

*She LOVES giving kisses and has figured out how to pucker up her little precious lips and even make a smooching sound! Its so cute!

*She giggles and laughs all the time!

*She knows the sign language for "all done" and "more." She has even figured out how to combine them by saying "Please" with doing the sign language for "more"! What a smarty pants!

*She is a great sleeper... usually about 12 hours every night!

*She loves to read books! Carson will spend 15 minutes at a time with her sitting in his lap while he reads to her!

*She still eats everything in sight... as long as she can feed herself!

*She is actually running... not just walking!!
